We are excited to announce that Apheris has officially joined the Global Alliance for Genomics & Health (GA4GH) as an organizational member.

Founded in 2013, the GA4GH brings together an international community dedicated to leveraging genomic data to improve human health. By developing technical standards and tools, the GA4GH facilitates the secure, voluntary, and ethical use of genomic data, helping to lower the barriers for data providers to engage in collaborations.

At Apheris, we share the GA4GH's perspective of federation as a key technology for enabling broader collaboration in the life sciences. Our approach to governed federation aligns closely with GA4GH's core principles for responsible work on remote data, directly supporting their mission and enabling seamless, secure collaboration.

Joining GA4GH underscores our commitment to these principles and our dedication to advance data-driven innovation in life sciences. By partnering with a global network of experts, researchers, and scientists within healthcare and life sciences, we aim to contribute our expertise in AI, federation and privacy technologies and explore opportunities to further simplify data-based collaboration.

We are enthusiastic about the opportunities this collaboration presents and look forward to working closely with the international community at GA4GH to drive meaningful progress in global health. While the road ahead may be challenging, we believe that through international cooperation, we can make a profound impact on the future of medicine.

A special thanks to Beatrice Amos and Angela Page for their guidance and support throughout the application process. We are grateful for your assistance and look forward to the journey ahead.
